The version of your business people find first
Most people meet your business online long before they meet anyone in it. We build the site, set up the profile, and make sure the two say the same thing.
No platform, no plugins, no theme to fight. That also means no plugin vulnerability to patch at midnight and no license to renew every year.
Most of this begins as a review of the site you already own. Sometimes the answer is that it does not need replacing, and we would rather tell you that than quote for a rebuild.
A site nobody can find is a brochure, and traffic to a site that does not convert is just cost. They are one job, so we do them as one job.
The site, the domain, the email records and the systems behind them end up in one place, with one number to call when something is wrong.
Three parts of the same problem
A good site nobody finds, a great listing pointing at a bad site, or a business that ranks for nothing. They fail together, so they are worth fixing together.
However it is scoped, the order is the same: we look, we recommend, then we build and run it. See how every engagement runs →
This builds it. Managed AI runs it.
Reviews and content appear in both pillars, and the line between them is worth stating rather than leaving you to work out.
Here, in Digital Presence
The profile claimed and set up properly, the request process that gets reviews arriving at all, the site structure and the schema that decide whether you are found, and what the content needs to say.
There, in Managed AI
The daily watching and the drafting. Reviews answered in your voice, posts and articles produced on the schedule agreed here, and nothing published until someone on your side has approved it.
Questions we get about websites and being found
- Do we get a login to edit the site ourselves?
- Not at the moment, and it is better to know that now than after signing. Changes come through us and they are part of the arrangement rather than billed per request: you send what you want changed and it gets done. Most small businesses edit their own site twice in the first month and never again, and the ones who do edit it regularly usually want a content system, which is a different build and a bigger one.
- Why custom rather than WordPress or Squarespace?
- A platform is a good answer when the site is simple and the budget is small, and we will say so if that is your situation. Custom earns its place when the site has to do something specific to your business, when speed matters, or when you would rather not maintain a stack of plugins that each need patching and any of which can be the way in. There is no license to renew and no theme deciding what is possible.
- What does hosting and looking after it actually include?
- Hosting, the certificate, backups, monitoring, security patching and the changes you ask for. It is a monthly arrangement like the managed IT agreements, scoped to what your site actually needs rather than sold as a tier. If you would rather host it yourself or with someone else, we hand it over and that is a legitimate answer too.
- Is the review free?
- Yes. We look at the site you have and come back with what we would fix first, what can wait, and whether it needs replacing at all. It is a short written summary rather than a forty-page report, and there is no obligation attached to it.
- Do you do the ongoing posting and review replies too?
- That sits in Managed AI rather than here. This pillar builds the thing: the site, the profile, the structure that makes you findable. Managed AI runs the recurring work on top of it, with a person approving everything before it goes out. Plenty of clients want both, and they are scoped together when that is the case.
- Are you local?
- AIY Global is based in Chicago and works on site across the Chicago area. Web work is remote by nature, so we build for clients elsewhere in the United States as well.
